Bangkok Guide – MRT- Transport System Train

The city has got Mass Rapid Transit Network which is shortly known as MRT and has 18 stations in the city which are covering 20 KM area in the city. The transport system covers the area from Hua Lamphong to Bang Sue which is in the north. It makes up a horse shoe shape of the track. Most of the stops of the transport are picnic resorts which are quite famous among the visitors.

You can use this transport system to travel all across the city and visit the places you love with a luxury and a best system. The system is very fast as well and can take you on your desired locations in less time.

The transport system is open for the tourists for the whole day. These trains leave every five minutes during the peak hours which mean you can easily get one for yourself at any time in the day. The blue line trains are covering the 18 stations of the city. Even when the peak times are off the trains leaves every 7 minutes which makes them a good option for the passengers and the tourist both. The locals and the tourists prefer using this system for visiting different places.

The underground service hours of the train are from 06:00 till the midnight. They are also providing big parking area at seven stations of the transport system which means you can park your personal vehicles easily and visit the places on the MRT. The lifts and all other important facilities are available for the disable persons. The passes for the BRT and MRT are different which you cannot use the same passes and cards on both passengers.

You need to take a closer look at the map before leaving the station because the resorts are not near them and some of them require you to take a taxi after leaving the station.
